LEGACY Retail Services is a North American provider of services and solutions supporting clients in various industries including retail, manufacturing, QSR, healthcare, banking and more.
Legacy Retail Services provides multiple services to business across the United States and Canada. This includes small to large scale in-field projects for various businesses such as healthcare and retail. Field technicians may install displays, digital media, signage or fixtures. Field technicians and Legacy staff rely on the Legacy web application in the field to track and submit Job deliverables and ensure customer satisfaction.
Legacy had an existing web application for field technicians that was in need of updating in both form and function. They wanted to provide their technicians with a more reliable, stable and modern web application to maximize productivity in the field.
Coria analyzed the existing web application and documented all functionality and user interface details. A revamped version of the web app was mocked up using InVision, and the team worked with Legacy staff to determine each part of the UI. As new functionality was built and tested, Legacy staff and field technicians reviewed and tested the upgrades in a UAT environment prior to release to production. Today, Legacy staff and field technicians are enjoying the benefits of the redesigned web application.
Custom built web interface for use by Legacy field technicians;
Ability to use the app across browsers and mobile devices, including iOS and Android, Windows, etc.;
Ability for text message alerts to be sent to field technicians via SMS;
Real time synchronization of Job activity in the web application with Salesforce Work Order data;
Ability to include EXIF data watermark on uploaded files for submittal of date/time and location information;
Built in system gateways / process flow rules to ensure procedures are followed;
Improved file upload tool, including image preview;
Real-time file upload whenever possible, allowing Legacy staff to view uploaded files as they are submitted;
Ability for technicians to submit notes to Legacy staff via the web app;
Option to initiate a call to Legacy staff from within the app using the Call button;
Enhanced web interface to include:
Legacy field technicians were provided with a more reliable, functional and user friendly web application, increasing efficiency;
Legacy staff were provided the peace of mind that the field technicians were using an enhanced and more reliable application, decreasing potential issues with Jobs in the field;
All parties involved can rest assured that the requirements of each Job have been met, as defined by Legacy's client agreements.
